Illustration
There are several degrees
of illustrations:
essential, helpful,and instructional.
Essential illustrations include
simple diagrams that must be included to understand the text, these should be included with the
graphic design.
Essential illustrations include
books whose primary purpose is
illustration, with the text as
commentary.
Helpful illustrations increase the
value of the text, where the text
itself can not stand on its own.
Then there is illustrations that
accompany instruction sheets or
booklets (Instructional).
